Problems with 1.1

When I got Scratch version 1.1 I couldn't save anything or export any sprites. So now I don't use it and there are all these cool projects that have obsolete blocks (because they have a repeat until block).

Re: Problems with 1.1

Graham, try downloading Scratch v 1.1 again, and make sure that the Projects directories are all writable.  Could you save to the Desktop or directories other than the Projects directory?

On Mac OS X, this can be done with command-i (info) on the Projects directory, under ownerships and permissions, making sure that your have Read and Write permission.
If the Mac is set up multiuser, and one person owns the directories, you probably want to make the project directory (and enclosed items) be readable and writable by all users.

You probably want to make Costumes and Sounds writable also.

To avoid stepping on the pre-supplied projects, I did not make Projects writable, but created a new subdirectory for our projects and made that writable.

You *do* want v1.1, since the repeat-until block is a very valuable one.

Re: Problems with 1.1

Ok, I just made a new folder on my desktop and that works fine. Nevermind.
