I got a notification saying that I shouldn't say a users name that I'm offended by... and I think they're talking about the thread I made about someones signature... obvioussly they didn't get that it was a joke.

I was about to post this.
I think they overdid the whole clone punishment.
They also removed a picture with an "offensive" word in it when it was quoting a type of sword.
Offline
Ya, they did a little bit.

You mean a basterd sword? That was the right decision. And about posting topics about other users: I'm not quite sure about the rules on this but it's basically don't create topics to discuss other people because it might embarrass them and promote bad behavior between users.

Bad boy! Using bad language!

It's not really a bad word when used with the sword, but it can still be offensive to people who know what the word really means, besides ones who don't and think it's a general insult as well.
If the scratch team sees fit though, they have my consent to removing the word from my post.

I never knew there was a sword called that

It's called that because you can't call it a one handed or a two handed weapon. AKA longsword.

The scratch team did go crazy. All I've been able to access for thew past 3 months is the forums. I didn't use them 'till today. No matter how many times I tell them I'm sorry, they don't even reply.

The Scratch Team does their best to reply to everyone's emails. Although I'm sure they can't reply to ALL the emails they recieve.

I'm sorry if you feel your actions were misinterpreted. That's one of the problems with text-based communication - it's difficult to tell what someone's intent was. However, it's never a good idea to start a negative topic which mentions specific users by name - even as a "joke".

Yes, an alternate name for the "*" sword is the "hand and a half sword".
