linux version

Hi,

in Portugal netbooks are being given to all children, when entering school.
Those netbooks boot with Linux (a RH based) and Windows.
Are there plans to port Scratch to Linux ?

Hello Pedro_mg!

The think I found the solution to your problem: http://blog.scratch.mit.edu/2009/11/scratch-on-linux.html

It is an experimental version of Linux Scratch.  big_smile

Re: linux version

Yes, we have a linux version available for Ubuntu:

You can also try to convert this .deb package to and .rpm with Alien. If you do, please let us know how it goes! This is probably the best thread to ask / answer questions.
