No I mean it was completely numb. The other times when something's numb, you can still generally feel it, and move it around without feeling too much, but I couldn't move my leg at all.

Yogurt would/should work, like milk and honey.

So I just dip my arm / leg / whatever in yogurt, it gets rid of numbness? Okay, if you say so.

You know Orville Redenbacher Popcorn right? Well I buy myself about a box every week, but my brother always steals some. So I decided to eat the rest of this week's supply (4 bags) at once while watching Saw 2 through 4 on DVD. But the problem is I put 4 times the normal amount of black pepper on them, thinking it would need a 1:1 ratio like before. I ate some of it, but now my eyes are watering like crazy, and my throat burns like a mo- uh well it hurts a lot. Also coughing too. What can I do? I heard drinking water doesn't do anything for things like this.

Yoghurt again. Yogurt and milk, maybe honey, treacle... syrup maybe? If you dont like plain milk, add in some flavourings.

I just burnt my tongue on [gosh darn monkey fighting] soup. How can I treat this? I need quick answers. Post your emergency medical dilemnas here and any available scratcher who's on can and should come here and tell you what to do. It's a great way to help your fellow scratchers! For example: I got glass in my head. Should I leave it in or take it out? Etc. But for now tell me how to stop my tongue from the pain.
whatever u do, dont stick cold metal to ur tongue to cool it down. and i say this from experience. really. someone in my scout troop stuck their tongue to a cold hammer, and guess what, it stuck their. so if ur smart u wont do that

Oh snap, this one's a triple whammy. I was on my way to my downstairs cellar to get a bag of potatoes, but I slipped and hit my face hard on a pole. The next thing that came out of my mouth was not in fact a swear word, but a piece of my tooth. It's a molar somewhere in the back or something, I don't know. It's bleeding like crazy, so I'm keeping a wet rag in my mouth. But here's the doozy: I was trying to feel where the snap was, and it was on a sharp incline and the skin on my finger ripped from it.
And dad said I can't eat apples or popcorn or anything like that until I get it checked out at the dentist, sometime next week. What can I do about my gashed finger? You can see the red muscle tissue underneath or something, and it hurts from the air and water.

Make sure you keep your finger clean, wash it at least once every few days, and keep it covered wish a clean bandage. If you don't wash it, it might get infected, and the pain will be worse than washing it. I speak from experience. o_o
Also, try not to use the hand with the injured finger unless you have to.

Did you know eating too much microwave popcorn is dangerous to your health? This is a true story-- A man went to the docter last year because he was noticing his breaths were gradualy getting shorter. The docter asked him what he had been eating, and the man told him that he ate at least one bag of microwave popcorn everyday (he LOVED microwave popcorn). The docter told him that the chemical that makes the butter stick to microwave popcorn was causing his shortness of breath. In fact, they have to wear hazmat suits just to handle it. That guy can never eat microwave popcorn again, and no one else should either.

I only eat 2 per day so I'm safe. That's -1 less than the lethal dose.

But that could still be dangerous to your health. D: I hope you don't get Popcorn Lung from that popcorn. D:

I actually eat the unbuttered microwave popcorn (it says unbuttered on the bag). I hate the taste of butter.

It's just so weird that you can get a disease from eating, or rather breathing, microwave popcorn. I wonder if there are doctors who specialize in treating it?
