I made that gif using paint.net and a screen recorder. All I did was do a screen recording while draging a line in a layer in paint.net. The reason I made it was just to see if I could make a looping gif.

Focus your mind & your eye's in the top right corner. Now just stare at it and don't think about it at all. If you do it right it can go the other way. For me the motion was very jumpy.

Mine is a random doodle of Wolfie (the old cartoon dog/wolf/thing in my projects) outlined in MS Paint, then coloured and animated in GIMP. It writes my name, simple as that.

It's not my favourite, though. The one with Wolfie panting was my first attempt at GIFs in GIMP, and I'm pretty proud of it, but it was getting a little bit boring. So I changed it  tongue

I've also used a pumpkin with Wolfie carved into it as my Hallowe'en avatar, a mock constellation of Wolfie and some awful Online/Offline negatives, which were quite boring.
