Or that historian was in cahootz with the people making up the bible.
He definetly wasn't in cahoots with Jesus, because he was strongly jewish (can't remember his name, but he definetly wasn't following Jesus around).

Not the whip, Jesus.
Also at AtomicBawm3: Jesus was a Jew too.
Also your name is offensive to me. Atomic Bombs killed millions of people, and you've chosen that for your name. How disturbing.

Everyone's username is offensive in different ways if you think about it. Just some are more obvious than others, and some are not intended.

And Ace-of-spades...

The Ace of Spades is actually the Death Card, but that's only folklore.

UPDATE! I've updated my first post. I have a new story out. It's thought to be true - but it's disputable. Here it is: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/BlueFlame/874999
"Christ's Stories - The Diver". Please check it out and place some feedback

Pretty sure that one isn't true either. It doesn't give a very good impression of your religion if the inspirational stories you post about it aren't true.

Where do you get these stories anyways?

I don't quite understand what you mean... However... You might be right. I see it from a completely different perspective because I am a Christian. So thank you for helping me to realise what others think.
The next one I will post will be true, except you wont be able to check that on the internet, because it will happen to ME.

1) He was given 39 lashes. The whip had several cords that had sharp stones and glass attached to them. This ripped open skin and exposed muscles.
Oh yeah, because we can find full color pictures of this on the internet.

2) Already weakened this much he had to carry his own cross, which in turn would play a part in Jesus dying from exhaustion.
3) His hands were NAILED to a cross, piercing arteries. This could have caused him to die of blood loss. Plus, the weight of his whole body were upon these nails and these wounds.
4) Lastly, his was stabbed in the heart by a spear, by a Roman soldier who had been trained to know where to put the spear.Don't forget that these are all things from the Bible and there's no possible way to tell if they ever even happened.
It is history. Romans killed people by hanging them on crosses. The stabbed them to make sure that they're dead, and in Jesus' case, they whipped them.
Some things I found on the internet about the whip they used on Jesus:
In conclusion, the worst whip, the Flagrum, was not used to kill, but only for intense torture. The verberatio was used mainly as a prelude to crucifixion, but could also have been used for severe punishments. The whip has evolved from a spiny branch to a meticulously made piece of leather art and has been used in many of the millions of merciless whippings in the Roman Empire during Jesus’ time.
The flagrum was a whip with a short handle and generally two or three long thick thongs, each weighted at some distance from their extremity with lead balls or mutton bones. In action, the thongs cut the skin, while the balls or bones created deep contusions. The result was significant haemorrhage and considerable weakening of the vital resistance of the victim.
And how do you put pictures into your comments? I found a full coloured picture of one on the internet.
In history, Romans killed people by nailing them to stakes. Just one peice of wood.

what evidence is there that christ doesn't exist? He's Jesus he died on the Christ for my sins so that we could have everlasting life. If your Athiast do not spread your beliefs Athiasts are just hollow shells because they don't believe in anything, so they have nothing to look up to and carry them on.

Actually people believe he existed, it's just religions other than Christianity do not believe him to be the messiah, I believe.
