I mean, if a programming language has a 'subroutine' instead of 'method' or 'function', and you define variables by Dim-ming them, it's rather rubbish for me.

Iv had 3 periods of debugging ONE script because the coding for key commands in 5.0 CEE are different than the 2005 version. Iv tried Ascii codes, iv tried hex codes, IV EVEN TRIED THE HTML CODES!!!

OK, I think I get it. Was it JavaScript or VBScript? Javascripts are easy to debug. VBS... well, this is kinda weird.

Its not like its a complex script either.

i can post it here because i dont know it off by heart. But its VB script. as i said, iv tried ascii, hex and html, are you saying i could use javascript?
5.0 CEE is really simple, but its so outdated and lacking in things to do in it, its mostly just buttons and labels with textboxs.

Look, do the programmers worry to write program for XP, Vista and 7 separately? No, they do it once, and hope it will work.

Re: Emerald

Rhy says that to mak a site you need to know CSS, we might need to take a note of this for when we do our own one not hosted by Gershmer.
