In Sweden you start in a new school the year you turn 16, the school is called Gymnasium (Should not be confused with the english word)
There are different programmes you can choose between, among them is IB International Baccalaureate.
I have already sent my petition to the admissions board, saying that I want to read the Technical Programme.
But now I have regretted my choice a little, I 'm not sure if I want to read the technical programme or IB.
I want to study on a unviversity after the Gymnasium and if I read IB I can also study in other countries.
But the technical programme have more of the classes I like.
Do you think it's too early to choose a technocal orientation and that I should wait three years and then study it on a university.
Or choosing a technical orientation now but not being admitted to very many unviversities after that.
Sorry if I'm being unclear, but it's very hard to explain a schhol system in another language.

Yes.
Nice short answer.
I agree.

I think that this is too big a decision to leave it to some some people on the internet who don't understand your situation. Try asking your parents or teachers or a school councilor.

Well, I've had it very hard to sleep the last nights, all I've been thinking about is this desicions and how the two different choices.
I have spoken to my parents and they think it's up to me to decide myself.
The school councilor wasn't too much help either.
And of course I'm not just going to pick one option just because someone here thought it was the best.
I would want an answer to my thread, that doesn't only say what I should choose, but also why.

Do you really have to choose right NOW?
I'd wait until you're older.
I'm supposed to officially chose my orientation next year. I haven't even started thinking about it. xD

I started thinking about my orientation about two years ago, but I'm still not sure about my choice, as you could see.
And yes, I have to decide now, actually I already chose myorientation about a week ago but I can edit it in April, the system can sound pretty weird at first.

I would wait until you are ready to go to a university, so you have more time to choose. Choosing right now might make you regret your choice in the future, if you find something else you want to do. There are about 7 things I want to do at the moment, but I can't choose right now.

I must've missed that... In that case, I'm not sure.
I would go with the technical programme since it has more classes you like.

I chose the technical, thanks for the help!
Congratulations! I'm sure you will do well with whatever you set your mind to. And remember, it doesn't necessarily mean you are locked into one track for the rest of your life either. You can always choose to do something else at pretty much any time you want - you just have to be willing to start over. I think I'm on my third career at this point
