Doesn't work? You have to make the sprites yourself
Theres not some machine that will do it for you

Paint is good enough for spriting, actually. I used to make sprites with it for a Scratch group.  smile

Gimp is really good and after like 2 tutorials you can do a lot with it.

Paint is all I use with spriting. For graphics, I turn to PhotoShop.

I have Paintbrush for my macbook and Photoshop for my PC. They are totally different. Paintbrush is very easy to use.

Since everybody is only mentioning Paint.NET and GIMP here are some reputable spriting programs!  big_smile  (Other then GIMP and Paint.NET  big_smile )
(Some are free and some are free trials., you can always get the cracked version  tongue )
