Camera Support?

Hi everyone! I was having fun making non-functional blocks like "initiate chicken sacrifice" in Squeak (to fool my brother) when I found an old image file from some time ago (Scratch 1.0.1) I was hoping for a "stretch" image effect that I came across in the source code. Anyway, I didn't find it, but when I shift-clicked on the Extras menu, I almost fell over. There were a few new options: turn off correction (which I haven't tried), show advanced blocks, and enable camera support. Show advanced blocks adds...drumroll, please...what looks like camera input to the Sensing menu. I don't have a working webcam (I use a PS2 Eyetoy and some possibly illegal software  smile  ), so I was hoping if anyone could tell me if these do anything. The link to the IMAGE file downloads can be found here on another forum topic. I don't want to raise any false alarms, but please, God, let it work!

Re: Camera Support?

The camera-blocks seem to have been in the image for a long time. Sorry, but I haven't tried any of this as I don't have a webcam.

Re: Camera Support?

Darn. I looked again and I also found movie support, but I can't figure out how to import files.
