Chapter 1
Part 1 - Images
If you want to make an image that you made on your computer, you have to upload it to a photo site, like Photobucket and many more. If it's on your computer, others can't have access to your stuff, which is why you need to upload it. Then if you did, do this:
[img](Put the image url here)[/img]
That makes a picture. Remember to not use pictures that are innapropriate.
Part 2 - Linking Images
Once again - If you want to make an image that you made on your computer, you have to upload it to a photo site, like Photobucket and many more. If it's on your computer, others can't have access to your stuff, which is why you need to upload it. Then if you did, do this:
[url=(web address)][url](picture address)[/url][/url]
That makes a picture with a link. Remember - Always put the [/img] before the[/url].
Chapter 2
Part 1 - Links
I've seen many people do: [url=blablabla]That's wrong. Look here:
Just put the url
If you do this: (- For example a link to my profile)
[url=http://scratch.mit.edu/users/Chatter]
It comes out as: [url=http://scratch.mit.edu/users/Chatter]which makes no sense. So don't do that. It's not necessary.
Part 2 - Hyperlinking - or whatever you call it X3
For hyperlinking, do this:
[url=(put url here](Put the words displayed as a link here)[/url]
If you want to hyperlink to my stuff and it says Chatter's stuff, you do:
[url=http://scratch.mit.edu/users/Chatter]Chatter's stuff[/url]
Which makes Chatter's stuff.
Hope you learned something!

Nice... you could try and make a BBCode guide someday.
One thing: If you do this:
[url=(web address)][img](picture address)[/img][/url]
You get a picture link!
