ok so im working on my game Scratch Bash DG Edition and im wondering wether or not to include online play. I think that I will but the offline version is my main priority. first thing's first though. If I made it online would anyone bother to play it. also i'd like to post some links to resources regarding mesh.
First things first. mesh is basically online scratch. it is how scratchers can connect and play things over the internet.
heres how to activate it: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/MathWizz/849173
Here is a mesh tutorial: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/martianshark/713175
And here's something i put on the dg-games website because I Wanted to make a game with mesh. it's a small chatroom that I created solely for the purpose of sharing IP addresses for mesh games to play together online: http://www.dg-games.com/ipsharing.htm
if you want to use the real dg games chatroom please don't use that one. use this. http://www.dg-games.com/chatroom.htm
Offline
Yes, Mesh is now my favorite thing about Scratch.

There's a way to do it across the world too, or so I've heard.
Offline
wow, someone named angie just spanned up your chat room
Offline
im pretty sure its just that if you have a wireless router it's only in your house. across the world is for people without a router. and i can't even access the chatroom right now as its being weird.
Offline
PlayWithFire, of course, you're true.
I don't have a wireless router...
