Now I have officially gone crazy.
My speakers on my computer every once in a while are picking up RADIO SIGNAL.
And they don't have a radio in them.
And when I detach them from the computer, it continues.

actually, it's pretty possible. when we had a car, the radio was disturbed with the TRA-TRA-TRA--TRA-TRA-TRA--TRA-TRA-TRA sound every time someone ~5 meters from them got a mobile call or SMS. I think yours are just...reverse.

The speakers on my computer tell me when a mobile phone is about to receive a call. They also tell me if someone turns off a light in the house. If you've unpluged the speakers then there's no way they can make sound.

My site Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.

A strong enough radio signal can generate sound in a non-powered device...if the device happens to resonate with the frequency of the signal. I used to build and listen to crystal radio sets when I was a kid...crystal sets have no external power source, they get all their energy from the incoming radio signal.

I and 3 other of my friends had walk-talkies and we used them to talk to each other, but one time, somehow, I picked up a signal from India...and I live in California...
I guess it really isn't unplugged, there might be another cord.

Sometimes, low(or high-)-frequency signals bump off ionosphere, and if they're strong enough, they may be still received. I read about it in a Physics for Kids book.

I have done some experiments with this, I connected a small speaker to a home-made amplifier circuit, and I connected the other end of the amp to another speaker.
Then when I turned on the amp I heard some German people talking.
The radiowaves it caught was AM (amplitude moduling)
