last time I posted this it was for making music for peoples games, I had a bit too much work to handle (per say about 10 songs to work on at once), this more a ideas for stuff techno I could make, just regular music, if you need any idea of what I do just click my signature (it's a link)

that doesn't really help much, that just basically means a really good dance song, and I haven't successfully made a happy hardcore song yet

A sequencer is a program in which you create MIDI. A MIDI library is a library of instrument sounds that you use in a sequencer. ^^

AKA
sequencer=syntheziser

but mainly I use sytrus since it can do so much, and I usually take a preset instrument and edit it to my own preferences

and MIDI files are actually the rhythms and notes that you have made in a project (as long as you export them)

By MIDI library I meant a library of instruments used for MIDI.

I'm not sure. It's hard to find free music creation software that is good.... I'll try to do some searching.

@Dingdong: Lol, I'm no good at coming up with ideas for techno music, I do mostly orchestral. ^^" Have you ever tried recreating songs by ear in Scratch? It's really fun. :-D

my talent for detecting notes by ear isn't so good, I'd probably get more frustrated if I did that lol

thanks! i've been looking but i have verry little knowledge of what to look for or where i should start looking

also @ dingdong why not make a song about a certain color, what it reminds you of and what you associate with it and let it flow out as music, i can play lots of instruments but i'm not good with software. everyone expresses themselves differently, i write music and lyrics, some people draw, etc.

I was actually planning on doing that very early on, but I never got around to it

Hey, you know I use LMMS.

PlayWithFire (wrong advice ahem wink ), I really like Linux MultiMedia Studio. It's available for windows and linux, but I don't think mac....

Anyway, that's the best thing I've come up with.

If you've got mac you can use garageband. It makes some pretty cool music so you should try it out.
