Yeah I love it. It put a giant hole in my pocket but it was worth it.

I use Google Sketchup.
It is simple, and fast but there are a few drawbacks:
- It is not too flexible
- You cannot 'render' images natively. It only allows exporting of the basics.
My main reason, though, to use it is the sketchyphysics plugin. It allows for numerous neat things to be modeled, and is also very easy to use.
My project 3D crane demonstrates what your can do in scratch with a sketchup model.
