since LAUNCH DAY is becoming really contreversal, this should get a STICKY so EVERONE can kno about this (and also the fact that this the ONLY scratch thread with 9 pages. And anything w/ 9 pages has to be important
-Scratch's 1st ever non-code saving mechanic
-Revolutionizing Scratch RPGs
sticky please

Shadowhalo3,quit with jokes, man. The Saving system seems like its on everyone's attention. I find it TOO easy to program.
when loading the game in Dawn of Darkness, it takes you to your last position, with your items and everything. How hard is it to program something like that?,
and sticky would be nice

You can't make the game able to save without passwords, or making a variable or something like that, but after you go out of scratch, then back in you'll have to start again.

Variables? Ofcourse! BUT IN MY GAME, YOU CAN EXIT SCRATCH A MILLION TIMES AND STILL HAVE YOUR SAVED DATA!
pics coming soon!

HeyBrian_, You're a pro Scratcher, huh? well, you sound like you need to be taught something yourself. As I've stated many, many times before, LAUNCH DAY is when you'll find out
Man this really seperates the "proScratchers" from the "EliteScratchers".
And why suddenly there is an Inflation of companies on the forums!?! there's not enough members to go around you know.

Seeming as ive helped more than 300 scratchers yes, and im at least better than you. All you have done is nothing. And we cant tell how good you are because you wont release your real ID. Heybrian>Tsunami

i have a question. if he hasnt released anything online, how are all of the members working on it? in FT, my compony, we always release demos to each other, so we can work on them together.

I agree. To prevent all of this fighting, a project should only be advertised here after it's out.
Yes, I agree, too. As I stated in a recent post: "This is why I never tell anyone that I'm releasing a new game."
Please leave a message at the beep.Offline
