What browser are you using? Have you tried Firefox?
Firefox works fine for me. I was using Internet Explorer before, but now using firefox works perfectly.
Are you sure you browser is ready to accept cookies? Try downloading Safari (for PCs and Macs.

I was having the problem with Internet Explorer 8 and tried everything I could think of to fix it there (mostly turning off all the add-ons) with no success. Firefox works great for me though.
IE8 works flawlessly for me!

18:12 GMT -- filo5 realized that if happened with 2 open Scratch tabs, and the logout occurred after clicking a link in littletonkslover's signature.

Yes...I am using tabs with Internet Explorer. Do you find that turning tabs off fixes the problem? I'll see if that works with my installation - thanks for the tip.
Hello, Paddle2See!
You use Internet Explorer? Which Version?
I use Internet Explorer 7 and I have no problems about that.
Only sometimes, it is like every 100 like years or 0 years or 1 year.
Can anyone keep that out of the way?

I get this problem only at school (and I use the same browser at home)....
I don't think it's a problem with the browser.

Maybe you have cookies turned off and it logs you out because it can't keep your log in cookies
.....Mmmmmm cookies

I allow some cookies, but its getting pretty annoying know, it logs me out whenever i try to pot a comment.
Again, same situation today. Ill try clearing my history and cache to see if that helps.
Now using Mozzila Firefox, works fine. I liked IE8 though, hopefuly this glitch will be fixed soon.

The problem is still going on? Then I'll keep using favourites/history to make tabs. It's really hard and annoying. I usually have 6 tabs. O.O 1E7 Vista(ashamed), hmm...HP(Hewlett Packard), bamboo tablet. XD

I suspect that field is the "local country" specifier. en-US is "English - United States" I'm not sure what en-GB is but I would be willing to guess that it's "English - Great Britain". Apparently our languages have grown far enough apart that we each get our own versions!

Here's a list of words that are different: http://www.woodlands-junior.kent.sch.uk/CUSTOMS/questions/americanbritish/index.html
Now, back to the problem. Although we don't know how to avoid it, to make it less annoying every time it happens, always copy what you have written, and if it doesn't work, just paste it and submit it again, especially for really long posts, because it is so annoying when you get logged out after a really long post.

I think its because the US version is set up for the US keyboard layout, i had to go in and do a bit of editing for it to let me use the UK layout, it was kinda annoying having to use the @ key for the "'s and vice versa.

I had the same problem and have FOUND THE SOLUTION!
To fix it on internet explorer, go to scratch homepage and click Tools>Internet options>Security and click "trusted sites" then click "sites" and click "add". Fixed!

Oh you gotta make sure in the "sites" box part of it you UNCHECK "Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone".
