In an age of strategy games in age of war style, I am making the AGE OF PIE, because who doesn't like pie?
Anyway this project was part of my massive archive of projects never finished.
Inspired by Kileymeister's Kingdom
Story: The Date is 2485, and the world's governments have failed, and due to popular opinion, government was abolished. In their place, pie tycoons sit. So the world is basically warring pie factories. You happen to be new to scene, after rediscovering the delicious strawberry rhubarb. You want to beat your rival competitor-the blueberry factory.
Basically this is a mix of strategy games like Age of Empires and Age of War
The setup is similar to the latter. The setup is similar to age of war, where two baes sit opposite each other. However I have improved upon this. On your side of the field, there is about 11 or 12 squares. If you click one, a building menu pops up, and you can build a building there.
there is 3 types, divided on how much research you must do to unlock them. Some like O.T.I (Office of Technological Intelligence) can make their own special units. Others like the business center can perform their own special research.
-1st generation
1 War Factory
2 Research Center
3 Power Station
-2nd generation
4 Air Base
5 Business center
6 R.A.D.A.R
7 Shield generator
-3rd generation
8 more pie factories
9 O.T.I
Units
These are the soldiers, but they can be upgraded, and new ones can be unlocked.
--Ground forces
-Vehicles
1 Light tank
2 Medium tank
3 Assault tank
4 Super tank
-O.T.I.
1 MAC
2 Mobile shield generator unit
--Air Units
-Fighter
1 Fighter drone
2 Interceptor
-Bombers
1 Bomber
2 Heavy bomber
-other
Scorpian gunship
This project may be made by Flaming Trout Inc. Still thinking about it.
More to come!

Ugh, strawberry rhubarb. Make the pie factory you control have a selection of what flavor pies it makes.

concentrating more on gameplay, besides you got a problem with rhubarb?

Yeah it tastes like cat pee smells

You are in what grade again??

If you think that's being immature, you've obviously got no reference as to what cat pee smells like.

i've heard that it can melt your eyebrows off or something by the stink alone
it was written in the washroom stalls

cat pee smells like pee, any other comments?

No, cat pee and pee are in way different smell scale categories.
Anyways, why are we talking about pee? We should be talking about pie. I was just suggesting that you should have multiple choices of what flavour pie you want to make because strawberry rhubarb isn't the best pie flavour ever. Pumpkin Pie, Lemon Merangue Pie, Apple Pie, Cream Pie, Blueberry Pie, Cherry Pie, and maybe Strawberry Rhubarb then.
Your competitors factories could be a different pie, and they can be different colors. Pumpkin - Orange, Blueberry - Blue, Cherry - Dark Red, Strawberry - Light Red, Apple Pie - Gold, Cream Pie - White, Lemon Merangue Pie - Green Yellow, Key Lime Pie - Deep Green. The opposition picks a pie flavour that contrasts your color pie the best, and there should also be multiple pie factories to compete against.

have you ever played Age OF War?

Yeah,so far your description sounds like a combination of the two games Age of War and Sea of Fire(both on AddictingGames.com) .It's like Sea of Fire in the building of...well,buildings,and like Age of War in the troop upgrading. It's more like Sea of Fire though,a game where you must play in different levels by building buildings to increase your income,to defend,or to make troops to destroy the other base.In Sea of Fire, you begin on a map where you posses control of one state, and you can attack neighboring states to gain their resources to build new kinds of troops. Some, like planes and tanks, require several resources. You must conquer the whole map to win.Anyway, with the game your planning, you better prepare for lag,as you'll need different costumes for both troops and movement, and scripts with a whole lot of "IF" statements to control attack strength and the animations.Still, you could reduce lag by containing information in variables, but you'll NEED to keep the sprite count down;otherwise, you'll use like 60 scripts just so each sprite can tell if it's being attacked and how much damage it took.
