Woo! Lol now i am also going to make A Scratch Discussions!™ Yippe XD

Ok so back on track,... many Scratchers are mad at the front page now and many are happy about it.
This discussion asks the community, "What Do YOU Think About The Front Page?"
In your answer you can put in what is your favorite section, why it is or/and you can also add what part of the front page makes you mad the most. big_smile

Dude, just stop it. Really. Theres no reason you should make "A Scratch Survey" or "A Scratch Discussion". All of these I notice are based off of other threads, and it seems that you made these to make it more 'official'. I think thats just stupid. There's already a thread to discuss it and stuff, so you don't have to make another.

Frontpage in my opinion= garbage, execpt for the curator picks, and the featured projects. Honestly, nowadays, someone famous could put up a picture of the Scratch Cat and get top viewed. And the top remixed is just an easy way for kids to get front page. Scratch seems to be a "who can get top viewed or top remixed with some junk, and I can get front page cuz I'm famous" contest amongst the younger Scratch population.

I like everything but Top Remixed and Top Viewed (or whatever it's called). I wish that Surprise Projects could replace one of them. It might be really hard (or impossible) to do but a "Projects You Might Like" row would be cool. It could be projects with similar tags as the projects you love and favorite. Also (this might be impossible too) a "What Your Friends Are Viewing (or Loving)" would be nice. I tend to pick friends with similar interests and project tastes so I would be much more likely to look at that row than Top Viewed.

Too much trash on it. Needs games, and animations that do not repeat every 2 seconds, and don't have some over used song in them.

The first example is CLEARLY(If you were reading it AT ALL) is addressing about if you had ever been mad at a friend for being on the front page...

The third is talking about the idea of TAKING OUT THE TOP REMIXED...*? This thread is talking bout what you THINK about the front page...not "LETS REMOVE THE TOP REMIXED!"

I think the front page is mostly awful. The same people are always on it, so nothing changes. It's always these animations from nikkiperson2 or Maki-Tak or whoever. They always get front page because they have huge fanbases, which almost ensures that they will get front page no matter what the quality of the project is.
I also like the fact that you changed it from "A Scratch Survey" to "A Scratch Discussion".

On Topic: I feel like the quality of the projects in featured projects is going down. No offense to the people who have made some of those projects, but there are projects that are more deserving.

The front page DOES have some good potential projects. I wish they would bring back top downloaded so that it would be downloaded for stuff that won't load online which means that it is awesome.
