wow you guys don't know what 4kids is?
it's like the channel that dubs every single cartoon you watch (and even some you don't! *GASP* )

the only problem is they filter EVERYTHING
some shows never make it to america because they get cut down to about 3 episodes to filter the mildy bad stuff

ever seen that pokemon show season 1 where the kid suddenly had 30 of those bull things? the episode he caught them in was blocked off because it had a gun in it.

they also completely killed the first season of yugioh with the green haired kaiba and the violence

Actually, 4Kids didn't have the rights to dub that season of Yu-Gi-Oh! (what is now infamously known as season zero) because that particular season was created by Toei while the rest of the series was produced by NAS; 4Kids had obtained the dubbing rights from NAS and not Toei, which means that 4Kids cannot legally dub the so-called "season zero" (The violence issue is a common but yet incorrect misconception).

I saw the first and never saw any other season cause it just ruined the Yu-Gi-Oh concept T.T

Beh, I'll blame 4kids for the overdone censorship and bad dubbing, but I honestly can't blame them for something they legally cannot do.

Although, in the case of Yu-Gi-Oh!, I'll say 4kids dubbing isn't completely horrible. English dubbing done by Singapore is far worse. tongue

That's why if I want to watch something in another language, I find a copy in the original language (maybe subititles).

youtube search dragonball z cell game collection of dubs and choose the one that has english, japanese, swedish, singapore etc.

Yes, I did. Actually, most Singapore dubs make me want to cover my ears despite the fact that the dub is usually as pretty close to the original script. -_-

It's translating something into another language. For example, there's the original Captain Flamingo, then there's the French Dubbed on that makes my head bleed.
