They both count...Yeah, so since Pokerface has bad lyrics and a bad melody, it's terrible. Problem solved.
It has good lyrics, and good melody...

Everyone has different tastes, people, and they interpret it in different ways.
Songs can have both lyrical and musical merit, and it's up to the listener to determine which is more important.
Also, lyrics can be interpreted in loads of different ways. Lady Gaga's lyrics do make sense to people. Panic! at the Disco make hardly any lyrical sense to me, but they do to a lot of people.
@cocoanut: Excessive capitalisation doesn't help put your point across

OK, I don't get this: what's the song about?
Quoted from Lady Gaga herself, from an appearance in Alexa Chung: What I'm really trying to say is: I want the deepest, darkest, sickest parts of you that you're afraid to share with anybody, because I love you that much"
There are also references to horror movies throughout the song.

that must be sick. I hate lady gaga. I'd like to po-po-po poke her face, po-po poke her face
That can be interpreted in two ways.
Either the sick way you seem to have interpreted it in, or in another more meaningful way.

Haha like the movie Psycho, Vertigo, and Who's Tommy. Also in the song what she really meant was like she would do anything...nevermind. If you guys really want to know about the song then read this. http://vigilantcitizen.com/?p=2737
The link will explain SOME about the song but not all. If you thought her songs were weird and her music videos then click the link and find out what they really meant.

Who wants a diseased criminal who's out for revenge to love them?I know again. The lyrics make almost no sense at all.
If you're under 13, you probably don't know what half the lyrics are supposed to mean.
