I just thought that some people would like to announce stuff about their upcoming projects or even tell people about themseleves and their styles of project.
(By the way I did mean the 'My stuff' page so sorry for any confusion)

I think it is a bad idea. There would be more mature people like there are in facebook or myspace. I think that the current method prevents slander and if you slander someone in a project, it could get flagged.

I think that that Universal Message Board would be the "More About Me" form that you can fill when you sign up, but I could be wrong... I REALLY wish I'd put SOMEthing in there when I joined, because it seems like after you leave it blank the form disappears... :'( It might be better if the Scratch Team just enabled the form for all users; the feature's there, it's just not turned on... (At least that's my guess.) And most people aren't OK with sharing TOO much about themselves on the internet, so a lot of people left it blank... Still, turning it on would REALLY be a great means of telling the community what you're up to, but (like Platty said,) some people might put mean things in their "About Me" section, so people would have to add a comment on a project or something to ask it to be taken down. But other than that, I'm all for the idea of giving Scratch Users a non-project way of putting announcements on their front page! (Just please turn on the "More About Me" section, first...)
