Just as we have a thread that indexes sprite images across the web, I thought it might be helpful to have one for free music, too.
Feel free to suggest one for this list. Be sure to include the name, website address, and the License/Terms of Use.
FAQ:
- What is meant by "Creative Commons"?
- What is meant by "Royalty Free"?

That used to be the site I used for sounds until they made you limited to the number of sounds.

Ahh, Flashkit. I love that site. :-D
Btw, it's not all royalty-free, there's loads of free stuff so I think you should include that.

I'm a bit iffy about adding that website to the list because of their download policy - the owner[s] claim that the music is okay to download because SEGA has not pressed any legal charges, but I'm sure of this really would count as a License/Terms of Use for the music.

No, not if the song doesnt have a copyright. People upload there own music. if your not sure if it has a copyright, before you download the song it will tell you. Then Limewire is 100% legal.

The link is the one to the Newgrounds audio portal instead of the main site; it possible to get access to the mature content, but only if one decides to go exploring beyond the audio portal. ^^
