3d Scratch

i think that the scratch people should make a program that is called scratch 3D designer and you just make the shapes for the object and link them together and its all the same but just with 3d objects.
What do you think.

Re: 3d Scratch

Take a look at "alice.org", this may be what you are after.  It seems unlikely that Scratch will go "3d", I believe that would be beyond the scope of what Scratch is intended to be.

Re: 3d Scratch

Scratch is no more of a 3D language than Actionscript is. If Scratch went totally 3D, I'd probably stop using it.

Re: 3d Scratch

I might start using Source SDK soon to modify Steam games. Source SDK is the developers kit Valve used to make Half-Life 2, Portal, and many other games. Now the program is free.... well. It is if you have Half-Life 2 or Steam installed. Plus, it is a 1 GB download. It may be confusing too.

Anyway, I'm stickin to Scratch for a while.
