Well as you know, there will be a Scratch Day 2010. One of the events, out of all of them around the globe (you can organize one too!) will be at MIT. I'm 99.9999999% (what coincidence, 9 '9's)sure that I will go. One thing I plan and hope to do is interview Andres Monroy-Hernandez (correct?) aka andresmh, who is the web designer for scratch.mit.edu, and ask him lots of questions about scratch. So here I want to gather questions, you can suggest them, so I can like print it out and interview him. If I can, I'll even video-tape it!
Now why not just ask him right here on the forums? Well that would be boring.
Also if you want me to interview anybody else, like mres, jay, or anybody else on the scratch team, I might.
So discuss here, and suggest questions If you have a good suggestion, that hasn't gotten much response for example, I'll add that as a question too, ask I can ask for his opinion.
Questions
What future plans the Scratch Team has for Scratch and the Scratch website?
How much space does the server have?
I find the only awkward thing is that Scratch Day is May 16, while its only January, so there's still 4 months lolz...

I really want to go, but I live a long way away... So it'll cost a lot and take a while for me to get there.
If Paddle2See is there, interview him...
And if I'm there, I'll videotape it for you. I have my own camcorder...

Although he's technically part of the Scratch Team, I'm pretty sure he's not in the Boston area, where MIT is, so it's not certain that he'll come. He might though, so I'll keep my eyes peeled

Hmm, be sure to videotape it, I really want to see what he says!
Have any ideas of what I should ask him? Any suggestions you want to make for the next version of scratch? I can ask him just about all of it!

ask him why they do not programm a compiler based extra fast version of scratch or even they do not remove its slow down scripts

I'm pretty sure its because Scratch is made to be easy, for kids, and that would make it more complicated...

Ask him if he plans to grow a mustahe because mustaches are cool

Ask him something like, "Are you and the Lifelong Kindergarten Group planning on coding Scratch in a more powerful language, like C++?".

I like to spend me weekends with friends, not in MIT, so I won't be going
But a question...
What are you planning to do if Scratch becomes extremely popular?

I wish I could go, but I live in the midwest, plane tickets cost too much, and I'm too young to go on the train by myself overnight. (The train laves at 9 P.M., and gets there at 9 P.M. the next day.)

Does he have any information on upcoming releases of Scratch?
