Online Game Engine

I'm not sure if this exists in the Scratching world somehow, but I would love to be able to incorporate internet versing in a game I've created with Scratch. Something like:
____________________
When sprite7 clicked|
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Search for host room listed "When Dawn Awakens online room2"|
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If found, switch to costume "Game room found"|
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Collect "Game information" from wireless sources|
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If not found, switch to costume "Unable to access game room"|
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Is anyone getting what I mean?

Re: Online Game Engine

This would take a lot of server space (which I don't think they have), and if this does get approved of, I don't think it'll be implemented for a while...

For now, use the Mesh feature in Jens's Build Your Own Blocks (BYOB).

Re: Online Game Engine

Well, I've sorta made an online game engine: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/justtestingstickman/837966 but it only supports 2 players and no saving yet. It also has to rely on this: http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?id=15445
