Re: best years for music?

Modern Day pop is the WORST MUSIC EVER.

Every boy band replaces "You" with "Choo".
Half of pop songs now have rave/rapping elements.
People like Lady Gaga continue to scare the Hell out of everyone with their horrible songs.

And also:
"AHVE GOAT A FEELIN'. THAT TOONIUGHT'S GONNAE BE A GOODE NIGHTE.!!!!11{!:!@."

Re: best years for music?

Oh, right now I'm listening to the Russian Army Choir's rendition of Kalinka.  smile

It was written by Ivan Petrovich Larionov 1860.

Re: best years for music?

half life two is correct,

but mainly :

40s stuff like glenn miller
50s rock and uh, blues
60s
70s
80s
90s
no actual preference.
Just what my mind picks.

I don't particulary like songs like

Firar on the dance floor(or w/ever it's called)
and pop songs that arent really.

most stuff that uses autotune, but Owl City's Fireflies was a good song,
(the guy who made autotune must be making a whole lotta money right now)

but it's not Andy Hildebrand's fault all pop and rap artists want perfect tune.

U2 IS FREAKING AMAZING! i have 2 of their albums that i have never listened to but i had my music library on shuffle yesterday and started listening to them and THEY ARE AWESOME! and they are definately mainstream fantasytales. they are like the biggest band in the world at the moment, i think.

1999-2003. Guess Why.

(hint: look at my siggy)

I just realised who blink-182 are. (sorry - I'm a bit slow on the uptake XD) I just searched my music library, and there's only two songs by them  sad  It's All the Small Things and The Rock Show - I like it! Listening to All The Small Things for about the 3756547th time  lol

Wow... you actually counted how many times you listened to that song??

Nope. I had only listened to it three times then, I just felt like exaggerating it.
