Of all of the games I have been working on, I've mostly been working on a game called Kingdom. It's a game where you control a castle to vanquish a neighboring castle by sending soldiers to fight for you. Yet I have run into a bit of a wall.
Ideas.

What you can do to help:
You can either design a character to be used as a soldier, or design a new feature.
If you want to design a soldier, you have two choices; a human soldier, or a monster.
Here is an example of a human soldier:

For a monster, the design is up to you.
Please include the following stats for your character:
Health (between 5 and 20)
Strength (between 5 and 20)
Defense (between 1 and 10)
Speed (Between .5 and 3)
SPECIAL ABILITIES FOR CHARACTERS IS ENCOURAGED!
NO KNIGHTS. WE HAVE ENOUGH. SERIOUSLY.
Also, could you draw a button for your character? This button is what you click to deploy it.

That's me deploying a giant. The enemy deployed a swordsman, and my castle is seen behind. If you touch the arrow at the right, the camera scrolls right. FPS counter is at the top, around 35-40 means it is running smoothly.
This one is after the background graphics upgrade. The trees are interactive, lumberjacks will cut them down for lumber, one of the resources. The mountains are there to spice up the background.
This is the lake level. Yep, there is a lake there.
This is the mechanical level. Probably the most boring level out there.
This is my favorite stage, Hell. Brilliant.
I know, castle graphics are horrible, but I made up for it with awesome character graphics.

Yes, money will buy soldiers, upgrade them, upgrade the castle, employ workers who aren't fighters, and be useful for a lot of things.
