Scratch has always had problems with the "Scratch Player". It seems frustrating to put a large project online only for it to suffer glitches. Flash Player can easily interpret 10 MB files, so why can't Scratch Player? I am sure many users are frustrated with having to download every good-quality Scratch project. When Scratch 1.5 comes out, I want the Scratch Player to be fixed so it can interpret large projects online without any problems (i.e. lag, skipping code, not loading at all).

Two of those programs are caused by YOU.
the lag and not loading is usually due to the JVM(java virtual machine) not having enough RAM.
There is already a way of fixing this.
and it doesn't skip code, just some stuff doesn't work the same as it does offline, online.
Java and smalltalk are wildly different.

It can interpret files large than 10mb if the code is simple. Its just that most people don't want to wait for large files to load online. Even flash gamesites have this restriction.
But yeah, the online player is way worse in many ways.
