Hey banana500, I don't know if Scratch projects are capable of being saved onto DVD discs, but we do have a thread about saving and sharing Scratch projects via a CD (see here). I hope this what you are looking for!

Do you mean like putting save as and then opening a path to your dvd drive then hitting save? And I meant to quote the first guy, but too late bow

Using that method on a DVD is possible too, but you'd get GBs of free space 
And putting the .sb file into a DVD is possible, too. Obviously >.>
