Importing OSes

I'm starting to see this integration of importing apps(started by ME!  smile  ) into an Scratch Operating System. Who does it? Who can support importing applications using Scratch? What are the steps to importing them? I'd like to know, really.

List
Sangle OS: Import it and go
Xenotype: Coming
iSyn: Coming

Re: Importing OSes

If I made an OS I would import apps just by inserting one installer sprite which puts the App name and Reference code into a list when the OS begins. That way the user wouldn't have to do anything.

Re: Importing OSes

Speaking of importing OSes, I've imported the entire leaked code of Windows XP into Scratch. I'll upload it tomorrow.

LOL, I actually believed you. If it would be real, Microsoft will get out their rayguns and evilhamlings and kill you and they'll hack your project to make it flagged.

Re: Importing OSes

Can we get back on topic Cocoanut? It's not nice that you derail threads, same with ScratchX.

Re: Importing OSes

I use the same way of importing sprites and doing a making a list every startup, but I don't want to tell mine because of my advertising comment. The reason why is that its like advertising when I post with the name of the "OS".
