Squeak instead of Scratch?

This is weird. First of all, Scratch called itself Squeak. Then, the mouse doesn't work for it. It's running out of memory?! Lastly, it won't X out. What should I do? Help please! D:  hmm   sad

Re: Squeak instead of Scratch?

Squeak is the programming language in which Scratch is written in. Did you perhaps get an error message and then get into the source code?

Mouse won't click? I don't think that has anything to do with Squeak...

Just say:

Try moving your mouse out of the window (e.g. onto the taskbar or start menu or something). Does it click then?

Re: Squeak instead of Scratch?

It probably does click. But as some of you may have noticed the Scratch Team made a huge mistake (!!!) by implementing a "Do you want to quit?" box *IN* Squeak/Scratch itself. So when Scratch locks up, you can only exit with... Ctrl+Alt+Delete  smile

He didn't open Squeak. He found an error message. There's a few ways to do this. Can't think of one off the top of my head, but I'm sure there's plenty of kind users up there who can help you.

Re: Squeak instead of Scratch?

Did the title say 'Quit?! (C:\Program Files\Scratch\scratch.image)' or did it say 'Squeak! (C:\Program Files\Scratch\Scratch.exe) (C:\Program File\Scratch\scratch.image)'
