What are some examples of you almost dieing. 

It isn't true. Ask any scientist (sleep researcher or no), any psychologist, any person who has had a tramatic experience, or ask me.
I have died (in my dreams) many ways:
Kicked in the face by a pony (hey, it almost happened the next day...)
Car Crash
Bullet
Airplane crash
drowning
asphyxiation (suffocation)
poison
fire
et cetera (and the rest)

Yeah, I die all the time!
And you also die, thousands of times every month, you just don't know it. Your mind takes you through a training course of instict every night. Sleep up, and prepare to die (lol)
You may never have a near death experience, but you will be preping for one for your entire life.

Technically, it is possible to die in you dreams. If you are suffering from a heart conditions and you have a nightmare then the shock could kill you. n experiment into this has been carried out and results show that some people often wake up feeling out of breath and claim to have been drowning in their dream. Others feel headaches and sore bones and claim to have been hit or fallen in their dream.

Its the nerves in their body. The mind creates electric pulses  that travel through the body and when it hits the nerves then you feel the pain

Well, yes, eventually. I'd just like to point out that you probably can't dream about dieing (or anything else for that matter- my belief anyway) after you're dead, but you don't necessarily have to dream about dieing before you die. So yeah, you can die after(it might be a year after, or even one hundred years - but it'll be after).

I believe its already been proven false.  I'm a witness, I've died in dreams tons of times.  You know those narrow escapes in dreams?  I never win in those situations, I always die.

Yea.... xD Sometimes I feel annoyed after my death.... And right when you're about to die it's sorta dreadful. At least, when you're falling and about to hit the ground. xD

But, I don't have these sort of dreams anymore.
