Actually the same thing for my. In my level creator player, there is a small margin where there is black in the project, and then all of the tils inside. Then of course the entire black screen behind that in presentation mode. The wierd thing though is that sometimes that margin is black, but the inside becomes dark blue. Pretty wierd.

On my computer the RGB value is 0,0,1.
I made a game once and I set the background colour to black and a sprite's colour to black and guess what. I could still see the sprite!!

That's because both the sprite and the background turn blue, because to the monitor it doesn't matter what is a sprite or what is a background... It all turns blue. Because black is impossible to make.
