There are quite alot of projects on scratch that should be taken off for certain reasons..i've noticed several projects where the creator takes the projects that come with scratch and put them as their own...i've also noticed projects that are just images.
Also i've seen SEVERAL projects that are just the blank backround with scratch cat in the middle.

Yes i wike pie, I have seen alot of projects like that. There are alot of projects that they don't even bother to change the name. One Person I remember just puts projects from version 1.1 including my 'Food Chain' project. He even had the 4 infront of the name because of how complicated it was.
Thanks alot!
Graham.

Especially this one guy named 'davidchen' whose project are either unoriginal and he just changes the names or they are just a cat that says "Hello!" when you click on it.
There is also a person named omerh that just puts other peoples projects on as his.

Thanks for your comments. We do not want to discourage beginners and remove simple projects, also, we it would be very hard for us to check each project and decide if it's good enough for Scratch (we have enough work deciding on whether is inappropriate or not).
But I agree that it can be annoying to see projects that do not do anything. I have this idea that maybe you should be allowed to say "Ignore projects from this user". So that when you're logged in you will never see projects by that user anymore.
What do you think?

Well, maybe you should just do "Ignore this project" on the project because they might get better and make a good project.

Yeah, Graham. Those people that copy, when do they copy? After you! That way, people know you made it first! That is a pro for the ones that get copied!
Sadly, they will get more attention because over the time, more people join and their eyes are drawn to the new games. Meaning, they can steal your game if they lie again and say that YOU copied their game!

But then you could just point out that your game was added sooner than theirs.
