DOSS and other programing programs

I want to try them out. No, I'm not leaving scratch, I just want to see what I can do with them, and how they are differint. Please tell about other programming programs, and where they are availiable.
P.S- I heard that scratch was made by DOSS!

Re: DOSS and other programing programs

Try Java out for me, will you?  I know that Runescape is an applet and applets are made from Java, so I want to see someone try it out before I do.

Yes, but not nearly as confusing as Java or C++ (at least in my opinion). It's useful (well, necessary) to have a book or to find a good tutorial website since there are no "blocks." For Christmas, I got a book called Python by Toby Donaldson. I recommend it as a beginner's guide.

You can make games and animations in Python using Pygame (pygame.org). I haven't gotten that far yet.

Foxtrot is awesome! Good luck on the Python.
