Some of you might be familiar with my gallery, Cool Pen Projects. A lot of people seem to like it, and I keep checking the featured galleries and it's not in there. What are the requirements to get a gallery featured?

The scratch team picks featured galleries. I don't know what the criteria are, but there might not be any. I suppose that the gallery can't have been featured before, but other than that, I believe it's completely open.

It has to be something accessible to other scratchers and should be a topic. For example projects with lists. That is one that was featured not to long ago.

Pretty much...we don't have many formal rules for featuring galleries. We look for galleries with a theme to them (no Add Anything galleries) and then we try to find themes that will entertain and inspire the Scratch community as well as show the diversity of the community. We like to see galleries with a number of well-crafted projects that align with the theme. We also like to see galleries with projects from a number of different Scratchers.
If you have galleries that you think should be featured, you can add them to the same thread that we use for recommendations for featured projects http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?id=7339 I think it would be okay if we let people nominate thier own galleries, if they want. That is not the case for projects however.
