C instead of S?
In my URL bar, instead of the usual "s", I get a 
icon. I wonder if this is happening to everyone or if it's just a glitch.

Try clearing your browser cache. Then go straight to the Scratch site to get the icon. Thats what I had to do for my website. I would tell you how but I don't know what your browser is.
If you have any of these:
Firefox: tools--> Clear recent history --> cache
IE: tools --> Delete browsing history --> temporary internet files (thats what cache is)
My site Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.

Alot of problems can come from the browser cache, it's only there for quicker browsing.
