360

Is the number 360 important in any way?
I forget. Was there something to do with a civilization's calender or something?

LIST OF REASONS:
-The amount of posts juststickman has when  this thread was created
-Xbox 360 (TimeFreeze)
-360 degrees in a circle. (MyRedNeptune)
-360 degrees in a square. (gershmer)
-360 degrees in 2 triangles. (gershmer)
-360 degrees in a parallelogram. (gershmer)
-360 degrees in a rhombus. (gershmer)
-360 degrees in a Rectangle. (gershmer)
-360 degrees in a Trapezoid. (gershmer)
-360 degrees in a kite (the geometric shape). (gershmer)
-360 degrees in any quadrangle/quadrilateral. (gershmer)
-a 360 like a snowboarder does (golfer3)
-The Volvo 360. (BWOG)
-The Ferrari 360 Modena. (BWOG)
-And the Subaru 360. (BWOG)
-And it's also an area code in Washington. (BWOG)
-Also the acute angles in a pentagram (five pointed star) add up to 360. (greenflash)
-The exterior angles of any polygon add up to 360. (greenflash)
-360 turn. A movement that requires moving your body in a full rotation. (scratchX)

Um... There is a console that is called Xbox360? that's another reason... I guess.

360 degrees in 2 triangles.

360 degrees in a parallelogram

360 degrees in a rhombus

360 degrees in a Rectangle

360 degrees in a Trapezoid

Isn't the last one basically summing up most of the top part?

Most other geometric shapes? Isn't it only polygons with 4 sides?

360 turn. A movement that requires moving your body in a full rotation.
I didn't use a dictionary for that. I defined with my own words.

Only thing of significance, and yet just a very widley accepted opinion.

everthing above this reason except the circle is about a quadrilateral. The last statment sums up everythiong.
-a 360 like a snowboarder does (golfer3)
Moves in a circle
-Also the acute angles in a pentagram (five pointed star) add up to 360. (greenflash)
A pentagram is two triangles. As stated above, two triangles makes a quadralateral, which happens to have 360 degrees in it, just like a circle.
-The exterior angles of any polygon add up to 360. (greenflash)
Circle. Think about it this way. If you took all the angles, they have to get back where they started, therefore, must move in a circle.
-360 turn. A movement that requires moving your body in a full rotation. (scratchX)
Do I have to belittle this one?

Juststickman, the number 360 has no significance whatsoever.

Re: 360

Shouldn't you delete all the shape ones, because the one true reason is that there are 360 degrees in any polygon's exterior angles?  The other reasons are superfluous (hooray, me use big word!  Me smrt now!)

ALL NUMBERS HAVE SIGNIFICANCE!  Except 241.  Not 241.

You're right. xD Lol, I would rephrase that but I'm too lazy. -,-

Nope, its EVERY polygon.  If you mean the exterior angles, of course.

Nope, its EVERY polygon.  If you mean the exterior angles, of course.

The summation of the interior angles of any 4-sided polygon equals 360 degrees.

Yeah, so do the exterior angles.  Of every polygon.
