Scratch for Linux

Is there a plan to bring a version of Scratch to the Linux Platform? Al my computers are Linux and I only run Windows or Mac in a VM when I have no other choice. It would be nice to have a native version.......

I feel your pain.  tongue

Yes, there is scratch for linux here.

However, I strongly recommend you to run Windows on your VM and Scratch on top of that, because it yields much stronger, better results. If you don't have a VM, use VirtualBox, because it can allow Windows applications to appear on a Linux desktop.

Re: Scratch for Linux

If you look at the download page, go to the bottom and look for something saying, "Have a Linux computer?" or something like that and go to the link it sends you to. ( http://info.scratch.mit.edu/Linux_installer )
