Well,i want to make a project with some sprites in it (for example mario NES sprites) i find a sprite sheet on the internet,i copy and paste it to paint,but when i copy one single sprite (out of the sheet) i can't paste it in scratch,but i quess it will be usefull for many users to make that possible

Paste each single sprite in a seperate image and import them into Scratch. It should work.

ctrl+v might work but may glitch your project and and may even destroy it but it may still work!

I've tried it and ctrl+v doesn't work in Scratch Paint. D:

But it works for text and the selection tool. You can also do ctrl+c for text
