Greetings! You should be welcomed. Simply follow these tips, and you'll be a celebrity.

1. Name your thread badly. Here are some examples to get you started:

Good:

The best project in the universe!
The project I have labored on for 3756547 hours.
CLICKY CLICKY CLICKY!

Bad:

My first project. A scroller!
A guide to making secret messages.
An animation tells you how to draw a dog!

See the difference? The best is the "clicky" one. That thread got 2656273942 views and 2573252762 posts. 

2. Show how awful your project is. Here are more examples:

Good:

...but it lacks a sufficient enemy.
However, the movement is glitchy.
It features a wide range of glitches...

Bad: (the truth)

It has a well ripped sprite.
The sequel to my best project!
It has unusually good graphics.

The locals understand; those super-modest threads were well viewed and posted.

3. Say that you dislike feedback. Say that you don't want any comments (or lock them!), or say that you hate having your projects viewed. They'll understand. 

4. Post your thread in the wrong forum. If you post it in the Troubleshooting forum, it'll get moved! You'll get extra publicity.
