It's good if you play WoW with a lot of friends, things are a lot easier that way.

I played WoW until lv 24, its not much but I can still gives you tips. For your first character be either a hunter beast master or pick a warlock and use a demonology build. The reason for this is that these builds give you helpers that will take all the damage for you which means you don't have to heal too much.
Go to this site and use it to build your character's stats and talents http://www.wowwiki.com/

Here is one tip for WoW...its the biggest waste of money and time. To even play WoW you need to pay a BIG fee. There are other fun games that are FREE. Also the Warcraft Games are VERY time consuming. Because each game will take over an HOUR To complete.
So yeah.

My friend used to love wow, so I played it a his house, but it way too expensive for me. I just play boring old runescape instead. For a non subscription game that's a lot like wow, 3-d and same fighting style and all, try guild wars. It's windows only so I can't play it, and you have to buy a disk at a store, but then you can play with the disk for as long as you like, and it the same price as a month or two of wow.

I played the whole free trial
Some Tips:
After completing the first few quests, train until you reach Level 5. Then do the next 2 quests, and train again, this time is up to you. Note: You can do the quests in any order, but I suggest doing the first ones first, they teach you a lot.

*sigh* MMOs... All they are are time killers.
I don't get why people waste their money on it though.

Well that is your opinion, but others might think they are fun and are worth the money. But I appreciate your opinion.

Wow(lol, that wasn't on purpose), 6 months? You will have a lot of time, so I suggest for the first month you do quests(they are easy in the beginning), and for the other 5 months train and level up. You wouldn't believe how easy it is to level up to level 80 in just a month.
