How flexible is the scratch block language?

[blocks]I would like to <say[ I'm interested in using the blocks language for tutorials, something beyond the blog posts in the forums. I <think[  this would be a perfect scratch 'pad' approach to sharing <broadcast[ scratch ideas and working with youth as they develop questions, ideas and fluency with scratch ( and to expand <pick random(  )to(  the reach of Scratch)
<say[
Thanks!

Re: How flexible is the scratch block language?

Hmm, I'm not sure I understand your question, keithbraafladt.

One of the things I'd really like to to is share scripts directly out of Scratch in the forums by way of copy and paste, and to be able to copy / paste scripts from the forums directly into Scratch...

Re: How flexible is the scratch block language?

- Sorry I was being clever. the blog posts with the blocks inserted are really cool. I want to use these in web places other than the forums. How do I do this?

Re: How flexible is the scratch block language?

Sorry, I have no idea if you can do this, but I guess you can ask Paul Medwal (who I think implemented this feature) for the server-side code by contacting the Scratch Team (if you want to run your own Scratch-Forum, that is).

Another possibility to share scripts is to export scripts from Scratch to Gif by right clicking on the background of the scripts editor pane and choosing "save picture of scripts". You can then post the resulting Gif online...
