Good point. No taking shots at other people's states no matter how much you hate them. (Tries to stifle taking a shot at New York) Sorry New Yorkers, it's just as a Philadelphia sports fan, it's a law that I have to hate your guts.

It is not the state-to-state rivalry I am concerned about - it is the use of a destructive and emotionally devastating event being used as a cheap shot that concerns me. Having to see littletonkslover use that as a means to attack New Yorkers... that is just low and shows no regards for those who died in that incident.

Exactly. People died in that incident, and it should never be used as a joke. People dying is not funny.

People falling down stairs is.  big_smile   If they aren't seriously injured, of course.

I'm sorry, was that a tad disrespectful?  hmm

Re: ...Do you think I'm a maniac? >.>

You're not a maniac. But all therapists think you are.
I once had a dream that I was inside a dream inside a dream. Therefore inside the last dream I knew that I was inside a dream so I tried to wake up. Then I woke up to be inside the dream that was inside a dream. I went outside, thought something was suspicious when I saw that all the scenery was upside down, and realized that I was in a dream. So I tried to wake up. I did wake up. Now I was just inside my ordinary dream, but since it's not inside a dream I had no Idea that I was inside a dream, therefore thinking that I was not inside a dream but in reality even though I was inside one dream. Dreams are weird, you can tell if you're dreaming inside your dream but if you're not sleeping and dreaming you can't tell that you're inside a dream inside your dream so you think that you aren't in a dream even if you see a hollywood sign in England. So anyway, in the final actual not inside dream dream, I just went to sleep. Ironically, that's when I woke up in real life. So really if you dream you sleep, you wake up and if you dream you're awake, you're asleep?

This all points to one thing: I might be a maniac ^_^"

Yes, I live in New York. More specifically, New York City. And contrary to the stereotype that many people put on New Yorkers, no, I am not someone that crudely screams out cheers for the New York Yankees like raving lunatic.

New York City is certainly is an awesome city, there are many wonderful places to explore such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, Central Park, the Promenade, Montague Street, Broadway, Lincoln Center, Radio City Music Hall, Times Square, Grand Central Station... and that is only the surface. And almost all within short distance by earth-friendly public transportation. It never gets boring around here in NYC.  smile

P.S. If you ever visit New York City, take the Duck Boat tour - it's totally worth it.  wink

Yes, I was there when the attack happened. My classroom had a window that had a direct view of the Twin Towers. After 9-11, it was difficult staring at that classroom window and seeing a plume of smoke right where the towers once stood.

George Bush was also in a classroom in New York, reading story books to young children. Then one of his bodyguards came over and whispered something in his ear and then the look on his face, was amazing. But he just sat there, and then he lied in a press conference about how he found out. I hate George Bush.

I feel sorry for you. Seeing it on TV was enough for me but living where it happend must of been devastating for you and everyone else. Not to mention how insecure it would of felt after the attack.

Hey guysl, sorry about the 9/11 remark I posted . It was meant to be state*or state's cities* rivalry, since I live in MN and don't like NY to be honest.........anyway, I know I got a little crude, and I want to say I'm sorry. I wouldn't like if a Minneapolis tower fell down and someone made such a remark. Deal?  smile
(I still don't like NY though) Just need to say-Ely FTW!

It's just everyone likes NY and no one is intrested in MN. Unless you count people who like to taunt it ¬¬
