Oh yeah.
The decade is 2001-2010, not 2000-2009.
Think about it, the first decade AD (or CE, same thing) didn't start with 0, it started with 1.
10 years would be 1-10. So..
1-10
11-20

Invasion of Georgia (no, not the state)

Palin almost elected vice president (I know right? I still have nightmares...)

In conclusion, this was a hard decade for the world. Many things changed, from economic recession to the rise of terrorism, and we will always remember, yet morn them. Our technology has increased tenfold, from computers to the sciences. Many people died, and many have been born. Remember this decade, because I think we are in a completely different century than last.
On a different note: U.S. Grant was the greatest general in US history, thats right, I said it. He concurred an entire nation, and he also saved his own. He stands next to Washington, plus Lee is a traitor, and you know what we do with traitors?

OK, I'll give you that, but besides like 2 things he did, he was an idiot of a president. I think you'd probably know this, but did you know that Grant got a speeding ticket for driving his horse and buggy too fast?

I'ma born 1999 nearly in the next decade, happy I'm not. I'm 10, so don't think I'm born in 2000 next year(2010), JUST BECAUSE MY BIRTHDAY HASN'T CAME YET.

There was much more to that war than slavery. Its was mainly a matter of States rights by the US constitution that they could form their own country. Abraham Lincoln rendered America as hypocrite.
