Good idea, not really necessary but it'd be cool.
It would be nice. I wouldn't mind

Why can't you just use text smileys?
Anyway, do you think it's possible to implement?

That's why they should add the [noparse] tags, so when you do stuff like this:
:)
It stays like this

Text smileys can be used, of course, which is why I said it's not really necessary to implement.
And it's definitively possible to implement, using a code similar to the code we have now in the forums. Replacing certain bits of text with the smilies.

You could use the button below your post that says: Never show smilies as icons for this post. If you click on the box and it has a check, smilies will not show up in your post. =D like that.

Anyway, do you think it's possible to implement?maybe because you hate fun
During the Text-Based Games controversy people said that to me, just because I wanted the Text-Based Games deleted... you probably remembered what they said and decided to insult me for no reason at all.
This is about smileys on comments, not an argument about fun. Where does fun come into this, anyway?

What does fun have to do with that anyway? It's just a smiley.

well its a matter of choice chris some of them become happy when they see things like that but actually they dont think what will be the effect of adding it or what will be the difficulties arosed by it when it is implemented

So you're saying that the cost of implementation is ignored?
Hmm.
