Beginner Questions
I just started using Scratch and I am having trouble with a few things. First of all, how do you search in the galleries? I have a friend that posted some games. She told me the names of her games but whenever I type them into search I get a message saying "that name does not appear in any documents."
Also, how to i get to another person's mystuff page to add them as a friend? I know my friend's username, but I cannot figure out how to get to his mystuff page.

I'm not too sure for the first question.
You could try going to any other part of Scratch besides the forums and type in the username that you are looking for in the bar in the top right hand corner. Once you get to his/her page, under the username there is, "Add to friends."

Zelda is correct; Searching from the Home page or Gallery page will find projects, searching from the forum page will just find forum posts. There are a lot of projects listed, so you may be better off searching by your friend's user name.

I find the easiest way to get to somebody's mystuff page, when I know the username, is to go to my own mystuff page and then edit the URL (web address) directly to:
"http://scratch.mit.edu/users/UserName"
Where "UserName" is the name of the person I am trying to visit.
