A quick introduction
New to scratch, I'm decent at C++ and already mastered GML.
I saw the gallery several times, but I've never seen anything decent. (No offense to those whose projects I've missed)
I'm hoping to stretch scratch to it's limits before I move on, so let's all enjoy the process.
Oh yes, I'm also an experienced pixel artist. If you need help with a sprite, and it shows you've tried, do not hesitate to ask me for help.

Welcome to Scratch! Enjoy your stay here. 
Even though you're a C++ programmer, you can still get confused with Scratch, since it's not a text based programming language, it's blocks. You can ask the community for help.

Hey, thanks.
Is there any way to add DLLs (Or something similar) into scratch?
I'd like to be able to extend functionality for everyone, but so far I don't see anyway to do anything like that.

You must be used to the Microsoft way of programming. You can't add DLLs to Scratch. Nor html and all that stuff. Those stuff can destroy other's computers. All you use in the projects are blocks, sounds, sprites, and costumes.

Short and simple,
DLL stands for Dynamic Link Libraries.
They're usually written in C++, and are used with another program to extend functionality, such as adding extra functions formerly impossible, like say a "Save / Load" Block in scratch. (As an example, it seems to be impossible)

I think you shouldn't confuse other scratchers with DLLs and Saving and Loading and C++ and all that. Scratch was made for people who are beginning at programming but everyone is welcome.
