Fanofcena: Actually, if you make your own chat project, it will be hosted either on your computer or on another computer, you will have to ask the Scratch Team if you want to host it on their systems.
Anyway, networking has been available since 1.3 ( http://scratchconnections.wik.is/ )

ah magnie read what he has written he wants scratch to make an internet network to access a project on internet. as mesh do not supports internet (I think) by the way the only way to get an server on INTERNET is either to give IP or to give a main computer which manages IPS so that u can instantly chat (See GTalk) And it will load scratch server wont it MAGNIE

The only way to connect to anything is using your IP and Mesh does allow you to connect over the internet, you just have to set it up correctly. Yes, if you're playing the project on the Scratch website, but I don't think they will allow that with projects, so it won't load the server. Please use proper grammar so I understand what you are saying. Sentences that start at one point then cut off onto another point makes it confusing to what you're trying to say.

Martian, you can use normal Scratch 1.3 to make multiplayer games also.
